Balneário Santo Antônio

Balneário Santo Antônio is located at Go-070, km 5, Exit to Goiânia. Located at the foot of the Serra Dourada, Balneário has been dedicated, for over 40 years, to activities linked to ecotourism. It has infrastructure with swimming pools, camping area, ecological trails, crystal-clear river, bars and restaurant serving Vilabo's rich cuisine, prepared on a wood-burning stove.

Sucuri Bathhouse

Located in the Serra Dourada Valley, on GO-070, km 6, exit to Goiânia. Natural environmental reserve, with a river good for swimming and a great diversity of Cerrado fauna and flora. It is one of the most beautiful natural pools in the region, with virgin forest, woods, waterfalls, rivers, extensive gardens, trails and a restaurant with lunch prepared on a wood-burning stove.

Andorinhas Waterfall

Cachoeira das Andorinhas is formed by the Zanzan stream and is located in one of the most beautiful forest formations in the region's Cerrado, providing visitors with a soul-washing bath. The waterfall is approximately 15 meters high. It is 7 km from the city of Goiás and can be accessed by a road, behind the Santa Bárbara Church. The Andorinhas waterfall is one of the best known and a great option for those who want to enjoy river bathing. It is located in a dense forest and has, in addition to the main well, a cave through which the water falls, forming a cold, natural shower.

Well of Sota

Located on the Bacalhau River, close to the city entrance, Poço da Sota is very popular with city residents. With a very good well for swimming, the trail is short and easily accessible. In the Cerrado's dry season (May to October) the river can be dry. The Bacalhau Stream rises on the slopes of Serra Dourada and forms dozens of natural pools, which attract visitors and nature lovers.

Serra Dourada Valley

The Serra Dourada valley has numerous trails of different levels of difficulty, which allow contact with nature and bathing in rivers in crystal clear waters.

Carioca Park

Parque da Carioca was created around the Chafariz da Carioca, the first public fountain in the City of Goiás. Legend has it that anyone who drinks water from this fountain never leaves the city again. It has a restaurant, children's playground and the Ecomuseum Fonte da Carioca, which tells a little about the history of the park and the Estradas Reais do Brasil. Carioca has two bathing wells and is very popular. Parque da Carioca is just 500 meters from Casa de Cora Coralina. It is one of the most beautiful and important tourist spaces in the City of Goiás, as it houses elements of History, Culture and the Cerrado of Vilaboense in the same environment.

Bagagem Waterfall

Cachoeira do Bagagem is located in the Serra Dourada State Park, on the old trail that connects Fazenda Quinta to the Municipality of Goiás. This trail attracts walkers from various corners due to its beauty and landscape diversity.

Royal Road

The Estrada Real, or Estrada Imperial, the route where the troops carried gold from Goiás passed, is an interesting attraction located within the Carioca Tourist Complex, which is part of the Cora Coralina Path: the Estrada Imperial Natural Park and the Carioca Park . Among the curiosities of the path taken by the Portuguese crown, in Goiás, are the old stone walls, from where it is possible to enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the City of Goiás and the Serra Dourada.

Serra Dourada State Park

State Park is a conservation unit that protects around 56 km of the Serra Dourada, a region with rich biodiversity, beautiful rock formations and home to thousands of crystal-clear water springs. The Park was created in 2003 by the government of the state of Goiás and is located in the municipalities of Goiás, Buriti de Goiás and Mossâmedes. The maximum altitude is approximately 1000 meters and depending on the change in altitude you can see the change in the Cerrado. There is a great diversity of fauna and flora, as well as caves, viewpoints, water springs and rocky outcrops. The entrance to the Park is in the municipality of Mossâmedes, about 40 kilometers from the City of Goiás. A car with 4×4 traction is required, otherwise you must stop the vehicle at the foot of the mountain, on the Cafundó River, and climb 3, 5 km to the entrance.

Morro das Lajes

The Morro das Lages Viewpoint is located within the Estrada Imperial Natural Park. The trail starting from Largo da Carioca is around 1600 meters and the view of the city and the Serra Dourada is an invitation to contemplation. It got its name due to the shape of the rocks. The trail to access the viewpoint starts on Estrada Imperial, then there is a trail on the left, which leads to the top of Morro das Lajes, where the viewpoint is located.

Grandpa João Lookout

Vovô João de Barros Viewpoint is located in the village of Areias, close to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora Aparecida, on the banks of GO 070. From the top of the lookout point it is possible to see the Serra Dourada State Park, the gateway to the Araguaia River Valley.

Portal

The Portal is a work of art sculpted by the action of wind and rain over millions of years on quartzite rock formations. It is located at one of the highest points of the Serra Dourada State Park, close to the Prof. Biological Reserve. José Ângelo Rizzo.
