The richness and importance of the Cerrado for the planet's environmental balance are recognized by both science and the arts. The International Environmental Film and Video Festival (FICA) could not fail to endorse this recognition and to discuss the urgent needs and possible solutions to the challenges of preserving this biome that is so essential to our lives.

In its 26th edition, FICA will be held from June 10 to 15 in the city of Goiás and will have as its theme “Cerrado: The Brazilian savanna and the balance of the climate”.
