TBC Flix, a video viewing application for TV Brasil Central programming, is making available 33 films out of the 37 selected at the 25th International Environmental Film and Video Festival (FICA) during the event's period, from Tuesday to Sunday (11 to 16). The public will be able to watch the films from the competitive show on the TBC app and vote for the one they consider best on the FICA website.

The initiative is the result of a partnership between Agência Brasil Central (ABC) and the State Department of Culture (Secult), which is promoting the Festival. According to the president of ABC, Reginaldo Júnior, Brasil Central publicizes the work of all state bodies and the Department of Culture has important support in the management of governor Ronaldo Caiado, remembering that FICA today respects artists and fulfills its commitments to those who works for the event.

“This year, Brasil Central supports Secult, opening space in our application for the inclusion of films. This will expand the Festival's ability to reach a greater number of people, everywhere in the world. I thank secretary Yara Nunes for believing in our team”, highlighted Reginaldo Júnior.

Secult and Brasil Central in partnership
During participation in the Thursday Program last Thursday (6), the Secretary of State for Culture, Yara Nunes, recalled that TV Brasil Central has been a partner of Secult “for a long time”. And he took the opportunity to thank President Reginaldo Júnior “very much” for his partnership, not only in FICA, but in everything carried out by the cultural organization.

“Since I arrived, TBC has been getting closer and closer. The possibility of having the films on the platform, together with TBC, only demonstrates this partnership. And considering the number of countries (participants) in FICA, the possibility of those interested in FICA having the platform takes our cinema further. It’s not just these filmmakers who are coming to FICA, the Festival is also going to these people and these countries, thanks to the platform (TBC Flix), and with the possibility of voting too”, declared the secretary.
