Rapper Criolo's show, which was scheduled for this Saturday (17th), at the 24th edition of the International Environmental Film and Video Festival (FICA), in the city of Goiás, was cancelled. In an official statement, the artist stated that the show “was canceled for health reasons”. To replace this attraction, a show will be held with rapper Gabriel O Pensador, starting at 10pm, on a stage set up at Praça de Eventos, close to Rio Vermelho. Entry is free.

Gabriel O Pensador is on a tour commemorating the 25th anniversary of the album Quebra-cabe, one of the most successful in the history of Brazilian music, while also finishing the recordings of a new album. The show's repertoire will feature great hits, such as Cachimbo da Paz, Festa da Música and Dança do Desemployed.

Born in Rio de Janeiro and pioneer of Brazilian hip hop, Gabriel O Pensador was the first to spread rap in Portuguese to the general public in Portuguese-speaking countries. It has millions of copies sold and a vast poetic universe that has positivity as its characteristic. He is recognized as one of the greatest lyricists in national rap and is famous for the blunt rhymes and acid humor of his songs.

A multifaceted artist, he is the author of six books, including Um Garoto Chamado Rorbeto, winner of the Jabuti Prize and adapted for the theater. On social media, it engages with a surprising age, social and geographic diversity, maintaining loyal followers since the times when there were no social media and conquering very young people every day in new media.

FICA is promoted by the Government of Goiás, through the State Secretariat for Culture (Secult), co-organized by the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), through the Educational Radio and Television Foundation (FRTVE). The event also has a partnership with the State Secretariat for Resumption, Goiás Social, State University of Goiás (UEG), Federal Institute of Goiás (UFG), Social Service of Commerce (Sesc) and City Hall of the city of Goiás.
