Registration for the notice that will choose the professionals who will carry out training actions during the 24th edition of the International Environmental Film and Video Festival (FICA) are open. Fica 2023 will be held between the 13th and 18th of June 2023, in the city of Goiás, and is promoted by the Government of Goiás, through the State Secretariat for Culture (Secult), co-organized by the Federal University of Goiás (UFG ), through the Educational Radio and Television Foundation (RTVE).
Registration is open until April 28th and can be done via the website Fica.go.gov.br. There are vacancies for five professionals with experience in the area of cinema and audiovisual production to carry out training activities in the format of mini-courses or workshops and script and project laboratories in person during FICA 2023.
Individuals or legal entities with proven experience in the audiovisual area, residing anywhere in Brazil and with specific work and/or teaching experience in the areas defined by the notice, can apply. The remuneration is R$ 5 thousand.
The evaluation of candidates will be based on the analysis of CVs and proposals, using the criteria of experience in the area, as well as coherence and quality of the proposed activity presented. The result of the notice will be published on May 4th on the website Fica.go.gov.br.
FICA 2023
The 24th edition of FICA will also be held in partnership with the State Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainable Development (Semad), State University of Goiás (UEG), Federal Institute of Goiás (IFG), Social Service of Commerce (Sesc) and City Hall from the city of Goiás.
The program will feature competitive exhibitions, debates with big names in national and international cinema, shows, fairs and environmental activities. In addition to cultural activities, Fica 2023 will also feature the production of a dossier that will help preserve the memory, permanence and continuity of the festival as an effective public policy in the city of Goiás.
FICA is an important space for discussion and reflection on man's relationship with nature and its consequences for the planet. Throughout its history, the festival has established itself as one of the main references for environmental cinema in Brazil and the world.
