The official final results of the selection notices for the visual arts exhibition and the gastronomic and crafts fair that will take place during the 25th edition of the Environmental Film and Video Festival (Fica) are now available on the festival's official website: https:/ /fica.go.gov.br/.
Fica takes place from the 11th to the 16th of June and is organized by the Government of Goiás, through the State Secretariat for Culture (Secult), in collaboration with the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), through the Fundação Rádio e Televisão Educativa (RTVE).
For the visual arts exhibition, 10 proposals were selected, three for local artists and seven for regional arts works. The names of the selected local proposals followed by their proponents were: Na Vista Selvagem – André Felipe Cardoso; By a Thread – Vanessa Bohn and Série OK – Wagner Wagner.
The selection of artists from across the state included the following recipients: And after this exile?- Leandro Araújo; Half price to the sea – Márcia Deretti; Peels – Matheus Pires; Dust of the Earth – Leandro de Araújo; REVOADA – Jhony Robson dos Santos Bulacha; Interior of the Streets – Paulo Paiva and Unnamed Horse – Benedito Ferreira.
The value for each selected proposal, from both modalities, will be R$ 2 thousand. The exhibitions will take place during the period of Fica in the Exhibition Rooms of the Museu Palácio Conde dos Arcos, in the center, with visiting hours from 9am to 7pm.
Those selected for the gastronomic fair in the “Pasta and Savory” category were: Ana Maria de Camargo Rodrigues and Viviane Gonçalves Barbosa. The “Sweets and Desserts” category includes the following selections: Valine Velasco Pacheco Santana – Coconut flower; Valdirene dos Santos Estival – Wall Estival; Marcia Felix da Silva; Luzeni Fogia Flores – São Benedito dulce de leche and Sítio Boca do Mato Ltda.
The artisans selected for the craft fair were: Marta de Carvalho Costa; Micael Santos Oliveira; Wagner of France; Francisca Soares de Lima Pereira; Ana Carolina Morais Rodrigues; Lana Ariel Coelho de Souza; Edson Florentino Lucas; Jessica Lorayne de Morais Alves; Elcione Darc da Silva Gomes; Wawa Aba – African Fashion and
João Pedro Silva Ribeiro.
All exhibitors at the gastronomic and crafts fair will be located at the Municipal Market of Goiás, during the six days of the event, with opening hours from 5pm to 10pm.
Multicultural event
Fica 2024 has a vast free program, with competitive exhibitions, debates with big names in national and international cinema, environmental activities and cultural attractions.
The festival is supported by the Goiás Social program; of the State Secretariats for Resumption; of Science, Technology and Innovation (Secti); and Environment and Sustainable Development (Semad); Saneago; State University of Goiás (UEG), Federal Institute of Goiás (IFG); Social Service of Commerce (Sesc) and City Hall of the city of Goiás. This year the event also has as supporters the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco), National Foundation of Indigenous Peoples (Funai), Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz), Grupo Kelldrin and Saga BYD.
